A major fire broke out in the Dawar Tulail market of Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday evening. The blaze damaged more than half a dozen shops and nearby residential houses, officials said. Firefighters were deployed to control the flames, though the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain unclear.
