In Haridwar, a 28-year-old woman from Muzaffarnagar suffered critical injuries after falling approximately 70 meters from a hillside near the Mansa Devi Temple while attempting to take a selfie. She was visiting with her family for a temple pilgrimage when the incident occurred. As she stood near the edge to capture the photo, she lost her balance, slipping and falling onto the road below. Her family members, witnessing the fall, immediately alerted authorities. The Haridwar police and forest department officials quickly responded, transporting the injured woman to a district hospital. Due to the severity of her injuries, she has been referred to a higher medical centre. Her condition remains critical as she receives intensive care.
