KR Gouri Amma, First Revenue Minister of Kerala, Dies at Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram at 102 Years
First Revenue Minister of Kerala, KR Gouri Amma died at a hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. She was 102 years old. Amma served as the revenue minister in the first state cabinet headed by late EM Sankaran Namboothripad. The Namboothripad-led government came to power in April 1957.
