Local train services in Mumbai are likely to be affected as the railways have announced a mega block on Sunday, October 20. As per the announcement, there will be a full-day mega block at Kasara station as the Central Railway will be operating special traffic and power blocks for NI works at Kasara Station for the Extension and Widening of Platform no 1 and Extension of 3 R and D Lines in Down Yard. On the other hand, there will be a five-hour mega block on Harbour Line's Up and Down lines between Kurla and Vashi station. The mega block will be from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM. However, special suburban trains will operate on CSMT Mumbai- Kurla and Panvel-Vashi sections during the block period. No mega block has been announced on the Uran, Transharbour, and Western Line.
