The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange alert for Mumbai, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in the city on July 16. Residents are advised to stay updated with live weather reports as moderate to heavy rain is expected across Mumbai and its suburbs, with isolated places likely to experience very heavy downpours. Temperatures are expected to range between a maximum of 30 degrees Celcius and a minimum of 25 degrees Celcius. In addition to Mumbai, a Red alert has been issued for Raigad, while an Orange alert has been extended to Thane, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, and Kolhapur.
