"Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vante Mataram" chants reverberated inside the first flight that brought stranded Indians back home from Israel as a part of "Operation Ajay" rescue mission. The flight carrying the first batch of 212 Indian citizens from Israel landed in Delhi on Friday morning, October 13. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar welcomed the Indian nationals at the Delhi airport as the evacuees expressed their gratitude. An armed conflict broke out between Israeli and pro-Palestine Hamas group on October 7.
