Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor, speaking in Bhitiharwa, West Champaran, announced a major commitment to fund the Bihar Navnirman Sankalp Abhiyan, saying he will donate 90% of his earnings over the next five years and all his assets accumulated in the past two decades, except one house in Delhi for his family. Kishor said Jan Suraaj will ensure that every person who received the initial INR 10,000 instalment is supported through the government process to secure the promised INR 2 lakh benefit. From January 15, his team will visit every household to help them fill out the required forms.
