Sexual Harassment on Flight: SpiceJet Flyer Takes Inappropriate Videos of Cabin Crew and Other Female Passengers on Delhi-Mumbai Flight, DCW Issues Notice
A widely circulated video on Instagram exposed a passenger secretly capturing objectionable images and videos of flight attendants and other female passengers.
The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has initiated a suo-moto inquiry into a distressing incident of alleged sexual harassment on a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Reportedly, a widely circulated video on Instagram exposed a passenger secretly capturing objectionable images and videos of flight attendants and other female passengers. Taking serious note of the matter, DCW has issued notices to the Indira Gandhi International Airport Police and the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The notices shared by DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal on Twitter revealed that the incident transpired on SpiceJet flight No 157 on August 16. The video footage suggests that the accused passenger was attempting to secretly capture indecent pictures of a female flight attendant and another female co-passenger.
