A cop in Uttar Pradesh’s (UP) Bijnor has been suspended after an audio clip went viral where he was asking sexual favours from a rape survivor. A video on social media showed the victim taking to Sub-inspector Dharmendra Singh. The cop can be heard asking the survivor in a vulgar tone “Kab Aa Rahi Ho, Koi Dost Leke Aaogi.” The woman tries to avoid the conversation saying that all her friends are married but the cop insists that the victim brings a “woman friend” along with her whenever she visits the police station.
