An old video of an Uttar Pradesh police personnel has gone viral on social media wherein a cop could be seen beating a youth with a bat. Reportedly, the cop assaulted the victim over petty reasons. Now, the Uttar Pradesh police have come up with a clarification on the viral video. The police said that the video is of the year 2021 on which action has been taken in the past. The video has gone viral several times in the past as well, UP Police added. UP Police Promoting 21,295 Constables to Head Constables .
