Two brothers, identified as Mohammad Kasim and Mohammad Hashim, were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police on August 27 for allegedly building a grave in the premises of a government school in Ashada village, Kaushambi. The school's headmaster, Rajkumar Verma, visited the school on Tuesday after a two-day holiday to find a cement grave built on the school grounds. He informed the local police station of┬аPaschim Sarira. Kamalendra Kushwaha, Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) was also informed,┬аwho then inspected the grave and registered a case. Investigations revealed that the brothers had constructed the grave for their dead sister. DSP Abhishek Singh informed that the brothers were arrested under the┬аPrevention┬аof┬аDamage to┬аPublic Property Act,┬а1984, and that other necessary legal action was also being taken.
