In a shocking incident in Maharashtra, a couple from Pune travelling in their car were allegedly chased and attacked by a mob. The alleged incident came to light after the 42-year-old software engineer from Susgaon in Pune narrated his ordeal on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, Ravi Karnani said that he and his wife were attacked by a mob of nearly 40 people. "There were total of 40 people in different pockets with Iron Rods, Stones and Sticks who were attacking our car, with 2 bikes and a car filled with Local goons chasing us at a speed of 80kmpl," the engineer claimed. He also alleged that the local Police took the mob's side, stating they were patrolling. The alleged incident caught on the car's dashcam shows the mob chasing the couple until they reached their home in Gurgaon. The incident, which occurred on September 29, came to light the next day after Ravi Karnani lodged a complaint with the Paud police.
