Dry Days refer to the specific days when all the foreign wine shops, hotels, bars, pubs and restaurants are restricted from selling alcohol. The state government decides all the dry days, and they usually fall during elections, auspicious festivals and national holidays. The Chhattisgarh government, on Friday, August 19, declared a dry day on account of Krishna Janmashtami 2022.
