In a recent surge of misinformation, the YouTube channel 'NewsFair' falsely reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to be arrested in connection with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The fabricated news has been debunked by a PIB (Press Information Bureau) Fact Check. ‘NewsFair’ also run other news which said that Lok Sabha Elections held recently have been cancelled and elections will be taking place again. The false claim has been dismissed by the PIB as entirely baseless and fake.
