From Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Haridwar to Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, devotees perform rudrabhishek and offer beal leaves and flowers to Lord Shiva.
Today marks the last Monday of the holy Shravan Maas. Shravan, or Sawan Maas, is dedicated to Lord Shiva, considered the holiest in Hinduism. It is believed that those who worship Lord Shiva during this period receive abundant blessings. Devotees nationwide thronged the Shiva temple to offer prayers and seek blessings. From Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Haridwar to Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, devotees perform rudrabhishek and offer bael leaves and flowers to Lord Shiva. Besides, devotees are also seen taking a dip in the holy Ganga of Varanasi to mark the auspicious day.
