Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat defeated Puerto Rico's Darian Cruz by 13-5 in the men's 57 Kg category of the Paris Olympics 2024 and won the bronze medal. This was India's first medal in wrestling at the Paris Olympics 2024.
Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat made the country proud after winning a bronze medal in the men's 57 Kg freestyle wrestling category and defeated Darian Cruz of Puerto Rico by 13-5. Sehrawat was dominant throughout the match and never really allowed his opponent to attack him. Aman's younger 8-year-old brother Amit Sehrawat while speaking to PTI stated that just like his brother he will also win a medal for India and will convert bronze into a gold.
