After a loss to South Korea in the semifinal, the Indian team fought back well to beat Vietnam and win the bronze medal on offer in this event. This was India's 87th medal in the Asian Games this year so far.
India have won yet another medal in archery, this time being a bronze in the women's recurve team event at the Asian Games 2023 on October 6. The trio of Ankita Bhakat, Bhajan Kaur and Simranjeet Kaur starred as India beat Vietnam 6-2 to secure a podium finish in this event.
