Australia needed one to wicket to win the match in the last two overs of the match but Stuart Broad and James Anderson held on to ensure that the match ended in a draw. Australia lead the series 3-0 with one match left.
England played out a thrilling draw against Australia in the fourth Ashes 2021-22 test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. England fought till the end with Australia dominating most parts of the game. Eventually, they defended their last wicket against the hosts to ensure that both teams shared spoils with one game to go.
