The Pakistan cricket team arrived in India for the first time in seven years after featuring in the 2016 T20 World Cup. Babar Azam and his men would be competing in two warm-up games before opening their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign on October 6.
Pakistan cricketers enjoyed the warm reception that they received in Hyderabad as they arrived in India prior to the ICC World Cup 2023 tournament. Fans greeted the Green Shirts as they arrived at the airport and cheered loudly for them as they made their way to the hotel. Taking to social media, several Pakistan cricketers, including captain Babar Azam, ace fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridia and also Iftikhar Ahmed expressed their thoughts on the warm reception they received in India.
