Ben Stokes was expectedly left dejected from the England dressing room after Zak Crawley was run out at the non-striker's end during the ENG vs WI 2nd Test 2024 on Saturday, July 20. This happened in the second over of England's second innings when Ben Duckett drove the ball down the ground. Jayden Seales, the bowler, got down and managed to have his fingers touch the ball before it hit the stumps. And guess what? Crawley's bat was in the air when the stumps were hit by the ball. West Indies got an early wicket, and Stokes, the England captain, was not too amused by this and made it clear by a shake of the head.
