Fazalhaq Farooqi had ran out Pakistan's Shadab Khan during the 2nd ODI of the series. Pakistan a day ago, won the 3rd and final ODI of the series to clinch a 3-0 whitewash and reclaim the top spot in ICC ODI rankings.
It seems that fans who were watching the Pakistan vs Afghanistan ODI series in Sri Lanka have not forgotten about the 'Mankad' run out which Fazalhaq Farooqi pulled off to dismiss Shadab Khan in the second ODI of that series that had a tense finish. The left-arm pacer on his follow-through, found out that Khan had left his crease by a long way even before the ball was delivered and quickly took out the stumps to run him out at the non-striker's end. That moment sparked a lot of debate and a section of fans taunted the Afghanistan bowler with chants during the 3rd ODI, the video of which has gone viral.
