Covishield manufacturer AstraZeneca recently admitted that the Covishield vaccine has side effects, which include blood clotting. Indian cricketers had taken the Covishield vaccine prior to the WTC final in 2021 and the Test series against England.
There was a massive uproar earlier after Covishield manufacturers AstraZeneca stated that the vaccine has some side effects. The manufacturers stated that there is a possibility that those taking the vaccine suffer from Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) as a side-effect, which, in other words, can be explained as a condition with victims have blood clots and low platelet counts. Several Indian cricketers, including Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, had taken shots of this vaccine in 2021.
