This was mostly because of sparkling half-centuries from the bats of captain Harmanpreet Kaur (66 of 47 balls) and Richa Ghosh (64* off 29 deliveries). The two stitched a 75-run partnership off only 45 deliveries. Apart from Kaur and Ghosh, Shafali Verma (37 off 18), Smriti Mandhana (13) and Jemimah Rodrigues (14) made contributions.
