Despite the disappointment of losing in the semifinal of the Asian Games 2023 to China, Indian Women's Hockey team redeems a bit of themselves by winning the Bronze medal after beating Japan 2-1 in the third place play-off match. India displayed grit in this match and secured the two goals through Deepika and Sushila Chanu to finally get over the finishing line and register the 104th medal for India in the 19th Asiad.
