Jemimah Rodrigues had a hilarious conversation with UAE's Vaishnave Mahesh after the latter tried to run her out at the non-striker's end during the IND-W vs UAE-W Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 match on July 21. During the sixth over of the first innings, Mahesh stopped in her bowling action midway as she spotted Rodrigues out of her crease. She did not effect the run out though. Later, during their chat, Rodrigues asked why was she trying to run her out at non-striker's end. The UAE spinner responded, "It's not nice to go away from the crease. It's in the rule book now."
