Monank Patel won the Man of the Match award in the Pakistan vs USA ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match on Thursday, June 6. The USA national cricket team captain led his effort with the bat in hand, scoring a well-compiled 50 off 38 deliveries, a knock which included seven fours and one six. Patel also marshalled his troops well from behind the stumps and made good bowling changes to help the USA get off to a good start in the match against the Pakistan national cricket team and eventually restrict them to 159/7. He will go down in history as the captain under whom USA pulled off a massive win over Pakistan, probably their biggest so far in their cricket history.
