Paul Stirling has resigned as Ireland’s T20 International captain as the team begins a new four-year planning cycle. Cricket Ireland confirmed the decision on Thursday, 19 March, following the conclusion of the 2026 T20 World Cup. While relinquishing the T20I armband, the 35-year-old veteran will continue to lead the One-Day International (ODI) side.
