Rahmat Shah Dismissed Run Out in Bizarre Manner After Ball Deflects off His Body Onto the Stumps During AFG vs SA 3rd ODI 2024 (Watch Video)
The Afghanistan cricketer was short of his crease at the non-striker's end when the ball deflected off his body and hit the stumps. South Africa defeated Afghanistan by seven wickets to salvage some pride after losing the series.
Rahmat Shah was bizarrely run out in the AFG vs SA 3rd ODI 2024 after the ball deflected off his body and crashed into the stumps. This happened in the ninth over of the first innings which was being bowled by Lungi Ngidi when Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the man on strike, played an on-drive. Lungi Ngidi stretched his hand out and the ball then deflected onto Rahmat Shah's body and went on to hit the stumps at the non-striker's end with the Afghanistan batter way out of his crease. Rahmat Shah, who scored just one run off six balls.
