The Master Blaster walked out to a huge applause from fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium before action in the England vs New Zealand match got underway. Among the plethora of achievements, Tendulkar also won the ICC World Cup in 2011 when MS Dhoni's famous six sealed the title for India.

Sachin Tendulkar, one of the icons of the game who does not need much introduction, was seen carrying the ICC World Cup 2023 trophy as he made his way into the Narendra Modi Stadium at the start of the England vs New Zealand contest on October 5. Tendulkar was seen carrying the trophy which he later put on a podium before both teams came out for the national anthems.
