Kiwis registered their first win in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 as they defeated Uganda by nine wickets. Tim Southee led the bowling side with three wickets and was judged man of the match for his performance.
The New Zealand National Cricket Team registered a dominant nine-wicket win over the Uganda National Cricket Team as they restricted the opposition to just 40 runs in the first innings. The bowlers were spot on with the deliveries, especially Tim Southee who took three wickets and conceded just four runs in our overs. Trent Boult got two wickets in the first over while Mitchell Santner and Rachin Ravindra also contributed with two wickets each. Southee was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
