This is the first time, Indian cricketers will be competing at the Asian Games 2023 and ahead of that they don't want to leave any opportunity to cheer for the other Indian teams in action.
Indian Men's Badminton team is in action currently against China in the Men's Badminton Final at the Beijing Gymnasium Court 1 in Hangzhou. As shuttler Lakshya Sen played the first match for India against Shi Yuqi, a few Indian cricketers like Washington Sundar, Sai Kishore and Tilak Varma who are currently in Hangzhou awaiting their campaign in the Asian Games 2023, were spotted cheering for the Indian Badminton team alongside coaches VVS Laxman and Sairaj Bahutule. Star Tennis player Rohan Bopanna was also spotted cheering for the Indian Badminton team.
