The ace Indian sprinter tested positive for a banned substance by the WADA. She has been temporarily suspended from competing as a result of this.
In a major development, Indian sprinter Dutee Chand has tested positive for a prohibitive substance by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Following this, she has been handed a provisional suspension. Chand was in action at the National Games last year, where she had failed to qualify for the 200m final.
