It is a historic achievement for the Equestrian Dressage team as this is the first medal for India in the Asian Games after a long 41-year wait. The team of 4 - Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Vipul Chheda, Divyakriti Singh, and Sudipti Hajela were awarded their gold medals in the ceremony after the event amidst the national anthem played with the tri-colour flag hoisted.
