The 26-year-old has been one of the most consistent performers and this award is a deserved one. This was also the fourth consecutive time that a player of the Barcelona women's football team has won the Women's Ballon d'Or Award.
Aitana Bonmati has won the Women's Ballon d'Or 2024 award at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris on October 29. The 26-year-old midfielder had an incredible season for the Spain women's national football team and Barcelona. She helped Barcelona win the Women's Champions League, Liga F, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa de Espana titles last year. Aitana Bonmati has become the second player to win the award for two consecutive times, joining her Spain and Barcelona teammate Alexia Putellas who had won the award in 2021 and 2022.
