Merih Demiral stepped up for Turkey and scored a brace to give his team an advantage. Michael Gregoritsch scored a goal for Austria but it was not enough and Turkey will proceed to the tournament's next stage. Turkey will take on the Netherlands National Football Team next in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-final.
