The Argentina vs Morocco match in the Paris Olympics 2024 was interrupted as fans stormed the pitch and also threw objects at Argentine players. Morocco had a comfortable 0-2 lead, thanks to Soufiane Rahimi's goal in either half of the game. But Argentina did not give up and pulled one back through Giuliano Simeone in the 68th minute. The referee added 15 minutes after 90, and Argentina, after a lot of hard work, managed to find the equaliser through Cristian Medina. As the scoreline was 2-2, fans at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in St Etienne invaded the pitch and attacked the Argentinian players with objects before security officials rushed and took control of the situation. Olympics' official website showed that the match was 'interrupted'.
