Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe Named Joint Winners of Gerd Muller Trophy at Ballon d'Or 2024 Awards After Scoring 52 Goals Each in 2023-24 Season
Both the star forwards have had magnificent campaigns for their respective clubs--Bayern Munich and PSG. However Kylian Mbappe was not present at the award ceremony to collect the trophy with Real Madrid boycotting the event.
Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe were named joint winners of the Gerd Muller Trophy at the Ballon d'Or 2024 award ceremony at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris on October 29. Both the star forwards had stellar seasons for Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) respectively, scoring 52 goals each in the 2023-24 season. Harry Kane was present at the Ballon d'Or 2024 award ceremony to collect the award but Kylian Mbappe was not present, with he and the whole Real Madrid team boycotting the ceremony after it reportedly came to be known that Vinicius Jr would not be winning the Men's Ballon d'Or 2024 award.
