Young Fermin Lopez made an impact as he scored the equaliser for Barcelona in their 2-2 draw against Mallorca in the La Liga 2023-24 on September 27. The defending champions were far from their best and it showed when they conceded an early goal with Mallorca's Vedat Muriqi pounced on a mistake by Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen. Raphinha restored parity for the visitors with his strike in the 41st minute but Barcelona's joy was short-lived with Mallorca regaining the lead just before half-time with Abdon Prats on the scoresheet. In the end, it was Lopez who scored the leveller in this match in the 75th minute and though Mallorca lost a man in injury time, the fixture ended with both sides sharing spoils.
