The post which promoted cryptocurrency was however deleted in a short span of time. A day ago, the Indian men's hockey team bagged a record-extending fifth Asian Champions Trophy 2024 title beating China 1-0 in the final.
Hockey India's official account on 'X' was hacked, a day after the Indian men's hockey team won the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 in China. The post by the hacker, which has now been deleted, was based on promoting cryptocurrency. 'THIS IS HACKED ACCOUNT!' read the start of the message which was shared on the official account. Several eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice this and point it out on the micro-blogging platform. On September 17, the Indian men's hockey team led by Harmanpreet Singh won the Asian Champions Trophy 2024, beating China 1-0 in the final.
