The Indian team suffered a defeat to Hong Kong in the semifinals to settle for the bronze medal. A day ago, India had also lost their last group stage match against Malaysia.
The Indian women's squash team added to the nation's medal tally with a bronze medal at the Asian Games 2023 on September 29. The team of Joshna Chinappa, Anahat Singh and Tanvi Khanna lost to Hong Kong 1-2 to settle for the bronze medal in this event. It was India's first in squash in this edition of the Asian Games.
