After losses in their last 20 ODIs, India finally broke their winless toss streak as KL Rahul won the toss during the IND vs SA 3rd ODI 2025, which witnessed the stand-in captain's emotions. Rahul first laughed, then fist-pumped after winning a toss in India's 21st ODI since their last toss win in the 2023 ODI World Cup in the semi-final match against New Zealand. Rahul opted to field first in the series decider, which is currently locked at 1-1.
