Leon Marchand marched his way to the finish line with a time of 4:02.95. Michael Phelps on the other hand took 4:03.84 to reach the finish line in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. France's Leon Marchand was way ahead of Japan's Tomoyuki Matsushita and USA's Carson Foster to win the gold medal in the men's 400m individual medley at the Paris Olympics 2024.
