Manika Batra got off to a winning start at the Paris Olympics 2024, defeating Great Britain's Anna Hursey to move to the round of 32 in the women's singles table tennis event. The experienced paddler won 11-8, 12-10, 11-9, 9-11, 11-5. This performance continues India's fine start at the Paris Olympics 2024 in table tennis, with Harmeet Desai and Sreeja Akula picking up wins earlier. Batra will next face Prithika Pavade in her next match.
