India now has another feather in its cap within ten days after the Chandrayaan 3 mission success, as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the Aditya L1 Surya Mission today. The Solar Mission probe was shot into space at scheduled 11:50 am from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota. The spacecraft will stay in earth-bound orbits for 16 days as it undergoes five manoeuvres to gain the speed needed for the L1 jump.
