Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) succesfully launched "first analog space mission" at Leh to simulate life beyond Earth in an interplanetary habitat.
ISRO has launched India's first analogue space mission in Leh in Ladakh to simulate life in an interplanetary habitat. With this mission, the Indian Space Research Organisation aimed to tackle the challenges of a base station outside Earth. ISRO Leh mission would likely help the future astronauts to tackle the problems faced in the future on a different planet beyond the Earth. The Indian space agency completed its mission in collaboration with Human Spaceflight Centre, AAKA Space Studio, IIT Bombay, University of Ladakh and with the support of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council.
