After a 55-year-old Indian Singaporean woman was racially abused and kicked in her chest for not wearing face mask, Singaporean PM Lee Hsien Loong tweeted, " Am very disappointed and seriously concerned that this racist attack could happen in Singapore. I understand people being under stress because of COVID-19, but there is no place for such behaviour here. We must stand united against racism."
