Benjamin Mendy, Suspended Manchester City Footballer, Charged With Seventh Count of Rape
The left-back was earlier arrested in August this year for a series of sexual offences on women. Mendy was subsequently suspended by his club and he has remained in custody since his arrest.
Manchester City's Benjamin Mendy has been charged with a seventh count of rape, an offense which has been reported to have happened in July this year. The French footballer now has been charged with a total of eight offenses including one of sexual assualt.
