It is time for yet another wedding in the Ambani family! After Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding last year, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani is all set to tie the knot with Shloka Mehta. Ambanis own the Mumbai Indians (MI) team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and no surprises that former and current cricketers part of the franchise were also in attendance at the Jio World Centre, the venue for the big wedding.

Mumbai Indians bowling coach Shane Bond was also spotted among the guests. Indian all-rounders Krunal and Hardik Pandya were also present at the wedding. Krunal’s wife Pankhuri Sharma was also spotted. Krunal last year made his T20I debut for India against Australia while Hardik is a regular member of the team across formats. Krunal has thus far played 11 T20Is and has done well whenever given an opportunity.

Hardik, who returned to Indian ream after the Koffee With Karan controversy, was ruled out of the Australian series due to the back injury. He was scheduled to represent India in both ODIs and T20Is.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians players have begun preparations for IPL 2019, which starts on March 23. Both the Pandya brothers are expected to join the camp probably after Akash Ambani’s wedding party. Mumbai Indians open their IPL 2019 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at home.
