After days of celebrating pre-wedding festivities, the big day is finally here for Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. The elder son of Reliance Industries chairman, Mukesh and Nita Ambani is marrying Sholka, the youngest daughter of diamantaire Russell and Mona Mehta on March 9, 2019, Saturday at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. However, it’s the decoration of the Ambani residence, Antilia on the Altamount Road that is making everyone wide-eyed. After being engaged for a year, Akash and Shloka are ready to be each other’s forever this Saturday. The duo will be married at 7.30pm in a traditional marriage ceremony. This is a second wedding at the Ambani household in a gap of a few months. Mukesh and Nita’s daughter and Akash’s twin sister, Isha Ambani married Anand Piramal on December 12. Earlier, pre-wedding celebrations have been on in full swing at the Ambani and Mehta houses. They reportedly had a Harry Potter-themed party where Guru Randhawa took the stage, as well as a musical night concert with Shreya Ghoshal behind the mic. An 'Anna Sewa' was also organised on Wednesday night at the Jio World Centre, which is the venue for all three forthcoming functions. A dandiya night in Mumbai was followed by a three-day star-studded celebration for Akash and Shloka in St. Moritz, Switzerland, last month. After the wedding on March 9 is a celebration on March 10, followed by a reception on March 11.
