Asia Cup 2018 is a little less than a month away. The tournament is scheduled to happen in the United Arab Emirates. But September 19 will witness the most awaited clash between India and Pakistan. Now, ahead of this contest, the war of words have already begun. This time it is Sarfarz Ahmed who has taken a pot-shot at India during an interview with a newspaper in Pakistan. He said that Pakistan would use their experience to the fullest while playing in UAE.

“Our team has relatively more experience of playing under UAE conditions and therefore we will try to take advantage of this experience in our Asia Cup match against India. On the other hand, Virat Kohli-XI is a stronger outfit as far as overall experience is concerned," said Sarfraz Ahmed. India’s schedule at the Asia Cup 2018 is quite a busy one. While Pakistan will get a two-day rest after their first game, India will play back to back on a couple of days.

India’s schedule at Asia Cup 2018 has even agitated Virender Sehwag who asked the players not to participate in the tournament if the schedule is not changed. Sehwag said “I am really shocked to see the scheduling because which country plays back-to-back cricket matches these days? There was a gap of two days in between the T20 matches in England and here you are playing ODIs under hot Dubai weather and that too without a break. So, I don't think this is a correct scheduling. Why there's such hue and cry overplaying the Asia Cup? Don't play the Asia Cup. Prepare the team for the home series or the away series. It's really difficult to play back-to-back games.”
